5005 Aluminum Sheet

5005 aluminium sheet belongs to 5000 series aluminium. It is a kind of aluminium magnesium alloy. There are about 0.8% magnesium content. It is a common used aluminiumn alloy. This 5005 aluminum alloy has medium strength and excellent weldability. Properties

Aluminium 5005 is not suitable for heat treatment. It is applicable for annealing. Because it is soft and its ductility is good. For your cutting and welding requirements, you can process the aluminum 5005 alloy easily. And compared with 3003 aluminium, the anodic oxidation effects of 5005 aluminum alloy are better. For your reference, among all the 5000 series aluminium alloy plates, 5005 aluminum plate has less magnesium content than the 5083, 5754, 5052 and so on.
